The Fall is an independent animated short film written & directed by myself (Desirae Witte), produced by Phillapa Tanner with associate producer Shai Wallach. Featuring the voice talents of popular YouTube creator Brian David Gilbert, and original music by Jonah Scott of indie band The Altogether, our short film has been recognized with several awards and nominations including Palm Springs ShortFest’s Audience Award for Best Animation, New York International Children’s Festival's Audience Choice Award (Ages 10+), and the Director’s Prize at SPARK Animation 2021.

Currently streaming on CBC Gem.

The Fall was a fully independent production, coordinated remotely during the COVID-19 pandemic, all while managing full time jobs & families.
